At SouthEast Alaska Fishing Adventures we just stepped up our bottom fishing game by installing a Lone Star Marine GX3 Anchor Winch. On the drum lays 800' of 5mm spectra rope, 25' of 3/8 chain, and a 22 lb. bruce anchor. What does this mean for our guest; unreal halibut fishing. Our guest will benefit by not drifting while at anchor and the scent from your bait will create a scent slick that will draw halibut from a long distance.
